Sorry I was looking at the apps on bottom of screen, in the top menu bar I did find a dropbox icon and was able to open it and reset syncing which had been paused.

Hi skulduggery, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you attach a screenshot showing what you're experiencing on your device? If there is an error log in a blue link, opening that link and pasting the text would also help.
What OS are you currently running on your device?
This will help me to assist further!

MacOS Monterey 12.0.1 - things have changed but I am still confused. I am no longer getting an error. When i click on the Dropbox app it opens up a Finder window highlighting a Dropbox folder that has been shared with me. In my Bookmarks there is a folder with links to that same Dropbox folder plus another Dropbox folder that has been shared with me. When I open either one of those folders I see all the Dropbox files that have been shared with me plus my own private dropbox files. But if use Finder only the one shared folder shows up. hope this makes sense to you.

Also, skulduggery, could you kindly send us some screenshots so we can have a better, clearer visual on our end?

- Hannah3 years agoDropbox StaffHey skulduggery, thanks for the screenshots and sorry to jump in here.
Can you please check the sync status of the Dropbox app? You can see that by hovering your mouse over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar.
Also, is it possible that you have used selective sync, to 'unsync' the folders that are missing from your computer?
You can check that by following the steps here.
