Dropbox keeps telling me to update my app to File Provider, but it never updates.

Running MacOS 15.3. Mac Studio. Tons of RAM and HD space. Dropbox App version 217.3.4297. I go into the preferences and click Update under Dropbox Folder updates. It does so. goes through the whole p...

Thank you.  I'm on 216.4.4420. Same thing. It goes through the motions of updating, but then asks me to update again.

Thanks for trying this out in any case, DShulman! Can you send over a few screenshots of what you see when attempting to update the Dropbox app (including what you see under your app’s Sync tab)? 

Also, you don’t happen to have your local Dropbox folder currently stored on an external drive, correct?

I’d like to gather as much info as possible and investigate this further.
