Thank you, I fixed the issue using Walter's steps but slightly modified:
Walter mentions that Dropbox's registry folders (in âHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINEâ > âSOFTWAREâ > âMicrosoftâ > âWindowsâ > âCurrentVersionâ > âExplorerâ > âShellIconOverlayIdentifiers) need to be within the first 15 entries alphabetically, and to rename the Dropbox registry folders until they are within said top 15.
Mine were already in the top 15, but I bumped them up to the very top Alphabetically anyways by renaming all registry folders above them (see attached picture, I renamed the Asus Shell Extension folders to appear at the bottom of the list).
After rebooting, this fixed the issue.
I'm good thank you, and yourself?
I have version 172.4.7555.
I exited and re opened the app, unfortunately the issue still persists. I have also tried restarting explorer.
Cheers
Hi Jesse Fargo, can you send me a screenshot of the files and folders as shown in your Dropbox folder, please?
Hi Jesse Fargo, can you also try one more thing, using the steps my colleague Walter provided here?
