No Internet Connection Error - Can't Sign in - MacOS App
Good day,
After over a year of flawless functionality, yesterday, the Dropbox app stopped syncing. I signed out and tried to sign back in, but to no avail. It gives me "No internet connection error...

Update:
I connected to my phone's hot spot and was able to log into the app, get it to sync, and all the normal jazz that had been working up until a couple days ago.
Therefore, there is something at the network level that is blocking the Dropbox authentication and syncing ports and/or URLs.That means it's resolved as far as Dropbox is concerned, but not for me.
I appreciate everyone's assistance.Sincerely,
Buddy

I am suddenly having the same problem. Any ideas on how to fix it?

I'm having the same problem. I'm on macOS Sonoma 14.4 (shipping version) and Dropbox client v196.3.6817. Wirelessly connected and plenty of speed down, and 10mpbs up. Has always worked and not signing in even after reinstalls and restarts. Has always worked in past, so thinking it's this version of Sonoma or the client app?

Hey davekeyboardo, sorry to hear that.
Do you have any security apps that might be blocking your connectivity to Dropbox, like an antivirus, VPN, etc.?

Hi Hannah, no none of these are the issue. FYI, it resolved itself by re-installing the macOS Dropbox app 2x, and waiting for it to sync up. Finally, it came online and didn't disappear. It appears to me that the app does an "instant quit" several times when first loaded on macOS Sonoma 14.4, but eventually recovers per above.
