Dropbox for MacOS is now ready

I've got Dropbox installed on an M1 MacBook. After upgrading to Ventura 13.0 it brings up a notification. If I click on "Get started" and go through all the steps in the process it appears to work, b...

Could you try updating to the latest stable version of the desktop app from this page directly and let us know how it goes?

Hi Walter,

I tried updating using the latest stable version from the page you linked me to. I downloaded both the standard installer and the offline installer but neither of them worked. When I try to run the .exe file it gives me this error: "Dropbox Update installation failed with error 0x80004002"

    Hey Andrew05, thanks for the update here.

     

    It might not seem really important, but if you restart your computer and try reinstalling the app again, does it help at all?

    Hi Hannah,

     

    I did try to restart my computer but still no luck. The installation is still giving me the same error code and the annoying update has not gone away. What are the next steps to solve this?
