Dropbox Sign missing Template Links option
Hello:
I am a new Business Team plan Admin member (3 user), and creating new templates in Dropbox Sign (Dropbox signatures redirects me automatically), but I do not have an option to "create template link" as has been described in the help articles and posts in these forums.
It is missing as an option for me even though I have a plan that should include it.
There should be a little pulldown arrows to the right of the Blue button in the corner, but from my screenshot below, mine doesnt have it.
Can someone confirm if Dropbox Sign still offers this, or if there is something going on with that feature in general, or how I can resolve this?
Thanks,
- Hannah

Hey guitarplayer1969, thanks for reaching out to us.
Just to confirm, are you following these steps here?
Have you tried on a different browser to see if you get a different behavior?
Let me know!

Yes- Step #4 of those instructions does not exist on my Dropbox Sign portal. I should also clarify that those steps are not the same for me. For example on Step #3 after picking Templates from Left side(#2), I have only "Starred" and "All Templates" and its not a dropdown menu, as my previous screenshot shows.
I have tried multiple browsers, made sure pop up blocker was disabled, cleared cache etc. Could the Dropbox Sign feature I have included with Dropbox Business be a scaled down version that does not include that feature anymore? The Signatures and Templates feature of Dropbox Business feature moved on Jan 5 2025 from the main Dropbox. Maybe they removed some features and haven't told everyone, but everything else seems to be there.

When you say "Dropbox portal", would you mind clarifying, guitarplayer1969?
Are you doing this while logged in to your Dropbox Sign account?
Which plan do you have exactly?

dropbox.com, which then directs me to Dropbox Sign, since Templates feature has been moved as of early January: app.hellosign.com. And yes I am logged into to Dropbox Sign and my Templates are there per the screenshot above.
We are on the Teams Business plan for 3 users, which I am in trial on at this point to make sure it is going to work for us. I also have a support ticket open on this and they are not able to resolve as of yet either.

Well talking to advanced support, the Dropbox Sign that is included with Business Teams plans now is not full featured, so I would have to pay for an additional separate DropBox Sign account to get that Template link feature added back, even though the other features would be duplicated.
Guess I will stick with Adobe forms and sign for this particularfeature, as it doesn't make sense that they would not include it on Business plans with the rest.
