Hi there, I hope you are well. I would like to access my deceased fathers account, as he has so many pictures that mean a lot to me and my Mum. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Man...

Hi there,
Many thanks for your response and also apologies for my delay getting back to you.
See my comments in red below, any advice would be welcome!
- A photocopy of your government-issued ID - e.g. passport?
- A valid court order establishing that it was the deceased person's intent that you have access to the files in their account after the person passed away, and that Dropbox is compelled by law to provide the deceased person's files to you - How do I go about getting these items?
Kind regards
Sarah Copland

Hey sarah copland, how are you today?
Would you mind replying back to the email my colleague has sent you? You'd need to reply back to him, in order to look into this closely, and with account specific info.
Thanks a lot!

In relation to your queries, a passport or driver's license might be applicable for this matter.
The second item would be some sort of legal document stating you are able to control items owned by the deceased person, similar to power of attorney. A lawyer would be better placed to answer this question.
