Hi, This is Thenmozhi Murthi. I have been experiencing a lot issues with both subscribed and unsubscribed versions of dropbox account. For the past 2 years, I had subscribed version of dropbox and experienced the following issues - multiple accounts were created with all my email accounts (2 icloud, 3 gmail) - files uploaded from my ipad or iphone is saving a copy in the device and bloating the device storage space - upload speed is 1/10th (with wired ethernet) of the actual internet speed - Had reported the storage and bandwidth issue to Dropbox support. Shared many screenshots and videos. But no fruitful response. It was total waste of time. - deleting a dropbox account is a nightmare (esp. with icloud email). Tried to delete my dropbox account before deleting one of my icloud account. But ran into error. Finally, i deleted icloud account which was in trouble. - I gave up on the subscription and no longer have a subscribed version of dropbox. For my privacy reasons, I would like to delete my free version of dropbox but again running into error when i tried to delete my account. Hi, I'm helping my mother who has by accident created two dropbox accounts on different occassions due to misundestandings. We have managed to close down one account but the second one is still active is our believe. We are unable to reset the password. We can't get in touch with the support because we can't log in. There is a monthly charge that is taken from my mother's credit card. I can't figure out how to cancel the account and stop the monthly charge? I keep getting invalid email and am wondering if .enterprises is a domain DropBox will accept when registering a new account? Hello, My account has been hacked again. I had this issue and was refunded for all the times the hackers used my visa. I just noticed another transaction on October 17th. I was able to work through this matter with a representative last time but now I am finding it difficult to reach out to another representative. I upgraded in July 2024 to increase my storage. I didn't realize at the time that my account was attached to an email that no longer works. No matter what I tried, I couldn't access my account on the new computer that I bought. Of course the new computer didn't "remember" me, so when I tried to log-in I needed the password which I didn't remember. I luckily had the Dropbox app and all my files on my laptop and was signed in so could still access my files. The reset didn't work because the security is so tight that it would only send a temporary password to my email which no longer works. I ended up creating a new Dropbox account with my new email, copied all the dropbox files to an external hard drive and then transferred the files to my new Dropbox account. This took a lot of time and I am frustrated. So now, I have paid for the new Dropbox account and want a refund of the $180+ that I spent in July for the yearly subscription. I tried to contact Dropbox, but there isn't any way to contact Customer Service about this. Does anyone have a suggestion for me? Thanks280Views0likes3Comments
