Can't cancel free trial

I'm trying to cancel my free trial, but I don't have that option. Here's what the instructions say:

The "plan" and "manage plan" are completely absent from my options. I then tried to delete my account altogether, but it told me to cancel any ongoing subscriptions first, and this is what it looks like for me:

As you can see, it doesn't mention a free trial anywhere, but it shows 3TB of space, which implies that I'm being charged for the service with no way of canceling. I've tried looking for phone support, but apparently you need to pay to speak with someone over the phone. I'm afraid I might have to cancel my credit card. Does anyone have any answers?

Hey Red Gerran, sorry to jump in here, but I just wanted to mention that it looks like your trial was indeed cancelled, but you'll get to keep the additional quota till the end of the trial period.

Hey arnoaldoori, thanks for joining the Community and sorry for the confusion this might have caused.

Since your plan tab reports Basic, your trial was indeed cancelled at some point and you'll get to keep the additional quota till the end of the trial period.

I hope this clears things up, Arnold.

        hi,

        thanks for the reply.

        there is indeed some confusion.

i can not delete my account,

        when try, i get this:

Before you can delete your account, you’ll need to cancel your active subscription

        but can not cancel subscription.

        how can i do that?

Yes, that takes me to the page with the second image in my original post. As you can see, there's nowhere to cancel my free trial.

I'm having exactly the same problem - I have a basic plan but have also had an email confirming that if the plan is not cancelled by a certain date I will incur a charge of £216. Have spent the last hour trying to resolve this but without success> How do I talk to a human being?

How did you start the trial; on the Dropbox website, or in the Dropbox app on a mobile device?
