How can I access/download my files, without a paid subscription with extra space?

Hello,

I am writing you regarding my dropbox account. As a matter of fact, I was subscribed to the plus plan of 2TB space but now it is stopped due to a problem with the payment. The problem is that I am located in Lebanon and due to the financial crisis that we are living in our country for more than two years, I couldn't use anymore my credit card to pay the subscription since the banks in our country do not allow us to pay anything abroad due to the inflation of x20 between the Lebanese pound and the USD. Therefore, I have now unable to pay the subscription.

This said, I wanted to know how can I fix it or how can I retrieve my data from my dropbox and save it on a hard drive?

Thank you in advance for your understanding,

Regards,

Frederic Harb

  • Hi @Frederic Harb

You can simply log on to the account and download your data. Not paying doesnt automatically remove data etc. it just stops you adding new information or syncing changes.
