How much do I need to pay if I upgrade my account to a team? What will my partner be able to access?
hi there dropbox,
i am currently on the lowest plan $184.67, which only allows 1 user, and i recently renewed it. I would like to increase my plan to include my business partner, how do i go about that. do i simply upgrade and pay the difference. can you confirm that this is $277 for 3 users, is that correct?
also, my dropbox is a mess and needs a big tidy up. Does this mean my business partner has to join my messy dropbox or does her start off as a fresh one.

Hi marythompson, hope you’re doing well and welcome to our forum.
If you upgrade your Dropbox account to a team, you should indeed be billed for the difference between the two plans. However, can you clarify which plan you’re looking at exactly? You should be able to confirm the pricing for each plan on this page.
Other than that, when upgrading to a Dropbox team, all of your personal files should be moved inside a personal folder under your name, which won’t be accessible by the other team member. Anything you want them to access will need to be moved/uploaded in the team space outside of your personal folder.
