I accidentally upgraded the wrong Dropbox account. How can I upgrade my personal one instead?
I upgraded my Dropbox account but I don't know why it went to my office email address. Now I want to change it to my personal email account, which it keeps on saying " it has been taken"
How shall I go about it please help. Should I delete the account?

Hi Raymond Lim, and thanks for your post.
If your work Dropbox account got upgraded, it means that you were logged in to it at the moment of the upgrade.
Did you wish to delete that Dropbox account previously? If not, you don’t need to do this necessarily.
I can log a ticket for you to the email address you see here and I’ll check if there’s another option internally, since we don’t have any account visibility on the forum.
Let me know if you’d like that.

hi Nancy
Thank you for your reply, I deleted the drop account which I wanted to change to, and then
went to the other Dropbox account to update the email address.

Hi,
I have the same problem, only the other way around. I accidentally upgraded my personal account but it needs to be my office account/e-mailadres. How can i change this? I don't want to delete my personal account.

Hey Nicole Severijns, no worries I'm here to help!
We'll need to have a closer look into some account-specific info so I sent an email your way, in order for us to investigate further.
See you there!
