I bought new Samsung s7 edge in June 2016. I got one mail regarding for claiming 48gb free space, but I have not noticed it at that time. So, can i claim the same offer now? how?
No, you cannot. The promotion ended one year ago.

They going to delete the extra files or what.
Your files will not be deleted for being over quota, at least not for a while. I'm sure if you left them there forever Dropbox would eventually send you a notice, but they do not delete files just for going over your quota.

As noted several times in this thread in the past month, the promotion has ended.

Hi,
I recently started using a Samsung table. It came pre-loaded with the Dropbox application and when I started using it for the first time it showed the offer for 48GB free as per a Samsung/Dropbox offer. I registered and did everything as required a couple of days ago to later receive an email from Dropbox telling me that the offer has expired.
However, by reading on their website I found the following:
- Select Samsung devices are eligible to receive 48 GB for two years, including:
- Devices launched after Fall 2014 with the Dropbox app pre-loaded
- Devices launched between 2012 and 2014 that have the Dropbox app pre-loaded with the "out-of-box" experience
As per the above I should be entitled to the free space as my tablet was between 2012-2014 and came pre-loaded with the app and I am a new user. The tablet has never been used before so no-one else has claimed the free promotional space.
I have tried looking to contact Dropbox however it seems they make very difficult for someone to contact non-other than their sales team that cannot help with the issue.
Can someone tel me how I can ask Dropbox to honor my the promotional space?

You likely will not be able to claim the bonus space. You had to do so while the promotion was active, and it expired on April 30th of this year. You can try contacting Support to ask (use the links posted in the reply above yours), but I wouldn't get your hopes up.

However. As has been said the promotion has expired. Therefore, unfortunately, regardless of when it was bought it is the activation date on Dropbox thats the key factor. You missed that date so it is illegible.
