Not receiving 6 digit verification code
I have been trying to access my dropbox account for the past month and have not received any 6 digit access code emails or any password reset emails, or for that matter any emails from Dropbox. I pay...

Hey Jay,
I had previously added the no-reply@dropbox.com email to my contacts and that did not solve the problem. I was able to pull out my old computer, thankfully, and the code was being sent as a notification and not as an email. So I am in now but if I had not been able to resurrect my computer from the dead things would still be a problem!

I am part of a group of people who have been sharing stuff via Dropbox. One of our group set up a Dropbox account about 3 years ago for the group, but about 2 years ago the sharing of stuff was put on hold as the group focussed on other stuff.
We now want to reactivate our Dropbox, but the email she used no longer exists....In an effort to get around this I set up the same email address on my personal Microsoft account, but when I've requested the authentication code it doesn't come through to this replica email address. I've checked Spam and it's not there either.
How can we get back into our Dropbox account? There's a lot of stuff there, and as a group, we are keen to be able to access it and use the Dropbox more actively in the future.

Hey there, Teddy Boy, how are you today?
First of all, the idea to re-instate the email address was great, and the fact that you can now access it, will help us troubleshoot this.
Have you tried adding the no-reply@dropbox.com email address to your inbox, in order to see if you can receive the email when attempting to sign in again?
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Hi Megan - sorry, I'm not very hot on IT stuff...how would I add the no-reply@dropbox.com email address to my inbox? (and do you mean my normal Inbox, or the Inbox for the replica email I set up to try and get back into Dropbox?)

Megan - are you responding soon, or should I look at this again later? I've added the no-reply email to contacts...tried login again, still no six digit code
