How can I delete an invite to an unknown user's shared file?

I recived an invitation to see a dropbox file from a to me unknown sender - how do I remove the message? (in order to not unintentionally clicking on the file)

  • Thanks for that, Konge! I’m afraid that these notifications can’t be removed from your account.

I can most definitely pass this on as feedback though, since I understand your security concern.

Hi Konge! Thanks for posting this on our forum.

To clarify, do you mean that you received an email invitation to access this file? If yes, you can go ahead and delete the entire email.

Let me know if I’ve misunderstood, though.

      Hi Nancy,

Thanks for getting back to me. Email already deleted, but when I am working on my Mac and open dropbox in safari, I also have the invite in "message" - and I would like to delete it there as well.

Can you send me a screenshot of where you see the message exactly, so that I can guide you from there?
