Is it possible to delete a Dropbox account that is used for phishing?
Hi, one of our users got caught by a phishing atttempt and after they created a Dropbox account using her works email they started spamming emails to people in her address book with further phishing attempts. We have remedied this, but now we have found out they are using a new drpbox account with a slightly altered email addres to contiinue their phishing attempts, can thus account be closed down? (This is for any mods on the forum).
Thank you

Thanks for posting about this here, shjlaw!
Since we don’t have any account visibility on the forum and this is something that needs to be looked at by our specialized team, I’d suggest logging a ticket with them instead.
What you need to do is open an incognito window on your browser and, while you’re NOT signed in to ANY Dropbox account, go to this page and open your ticket.
They’ll review your request after that and go from there. Feel free to also send me your ticket number here.
Let me know if you need something else, though.
