You might see that the Dropbox Community team have been busy working on some major updates to the Community itself! So, here is some info on what’s changed, what’s staying the same and what you can expect from the Dropbox Community overall.
Will Dropbox Paper for web consider support offline mode for Dropbox Web just like google docs in the future?

@walter: I'm sorry for that. I received an error when posting that, so thought it had not been posted: which is the cause of me posting this twice. Don't worry about me posting too much ;) All I want is basically that: A native app and Grammarly support.
But since our team is right now on the trial mode and ordering the Business plan next week, we'd like to know if there is already any update about these features?

Hi,
In my company, we use Paper a lot to share ideas, write specs, take notes. We love the product, and honnestly, besides some formatting features lacking, there is nothing more to add... Except this offline mode (sames as GDrive provides).
I work a lot in trains, where internet connection is not perfect. Being interrupted every 3 minutes or so is a nightmare.
I know that the mobile apps provide the offline mode. But honnestly, writing or reating a long doc on a mobile app far from being an excellent experience. So the mobile app is not a solution.
Can you at least tell us if this is something you are really and serioulsy considering? Or are your "thank you" more like "thank you but, no, we will not really do it"? A clear answer to that question would help us a lot to know if we stick to Paper or not.
Best regards,
Michael.

- davemHelpful | Level 5Paper was the final step for my leaving dropbox. It was bad enough there were no sensible storage plans (why is my smallest option double my actual hard drive space?!? I'm paying for space I can never use!) but the whole Paper debacle shows a company not driving its' core business and diluting a robust product into a mess of silos it had not integrated or planned for, and laying out a future pig's ear of a mess which will never be reconcilable without pain, as any solution will involve messing around with existing infrastructure. It's a real shame, but as a cloud storage provider, to release a new platform that doesn't quite build on the core offering was absolute insanity. I can't remember how many years ago this was flagged as a colossal oversight, but it's fairly moot now.

Jumping onto this feature request thread to hope to advance it. Also, would be nice if you could move the Dropbox paper docs into your actual Dropbox!

I can see that this post have been created last year. Is there any news if this is in pipeline for this summer or? :)

An electron app or PWA for desktop would be way more helpful.
I am looking for it for note-making, writing offline docs and lot more.
- JaneDropbox Staff👋 Hi to all! That’s a great idea & just so as to give it a bit more visibility, I’ve moved your thread under the “Share a Paper Idea” section, which is being closely monitored by our higher-level technicians.I hope that other users find this idea useful as well & they upvote this feature implementation 🗳️. Of course, our Community Wall is always open to your feedback or questions, so feel free to drop us a line here; we’re just a post away. Thanks for choosing Dropbox & have a wonderful weekend ahead!
