For the DropBox Paper App I need adjustable font size for viewing the document: In the overall App settings I'd like to set a default font size for all documents, that size shall be applied after loading the document When viewing the document I'd like to quickly resize the text. I want to have two separate options for resizing: First I'd like to zoom in and out the whole document like I would zoom into a picture (the word wrapping would NOT change). I've been a long-time user of Paper. I still use it for work. I loved it the first time I tried it. However, the lack of support has hindered this product's potential. Zoom released Zoom Docs today. It is what Paper should and could have been. A preliminary review shows a very powerful platform in its first version (Link). Since late May 2024, I’ve been unable to access my Dropbox PAPER account from my laptop (a MacBook Pro), though I can read and edit from my iPad and iPhone. But on my laptop I get a message (see screenshot below) saying that I’ve signed out and must sign back in. I requested help from Google (see below), thinking it was a login/password issue. I wrote: “When I try to launch PAPER to continue work on a document, I get a message that I've SIGNED OUT and must SIGN BACK IN. But when I try to sign in again, I get another message saying there have been TOO MANY REDIRECTS, and that I need to CLEAR COOKIES and/or my Browser Cache. I cleared some cookies, and I had already cleared my Browser Cache 3 days ago, on Sun 5/26. I am following instructions but my problem is not being solved. PLEASE HELP!” Their response was to tell me that question has been posted to the“GoogleChrome Community”. and most questions get a reply within 24 hours. I’d get an email notification when that happened, I was told . BUT I NEVER GOT ANYTHING. This happened 3 months ago in late May 2024— today, I just tried again to access my PAPER account and the same thing happened, with the same message . Note, I had already cleared my cookies on May 26 (3 days before the problem arose), so I really don’t think that is the issue. Dark Mode suddenly (this week) no longer works (Mac OS Desktop App across 2 machines, mac ventura and mac monterey). Left sidebar with list is dark. Writing / Note area is white. ("on", "off", "auto" settings have no effect ... it's always white bg). Blocks which used to show tools are now just black bars in the app - I can click them but the tool icons are no longer visible. I've written Dropbox support and received a ticket number and response which was entirely irrelevant. I started to use Paper yesterday (on Windows PC and Android phone). I have three papers. After creating paper 3 (on Android phone) I suddenly noticed paper 1 (created in Windows PC) suddenly had disappeared from the list within Paper. I could still see it in Dropbox itself but when I doubleclicked on it the Paper app opened but it didn't open the paper. (Which shocked me because it took me a few hours to create paper 1...!) I decided to search for paper 1 using the Paper search option and luckily, to my relief, paper 1 was found and I could even open it! But it still didn't show up in the Paper list and clicking on it in Dropbox also still didn't work. I decided to make a copy of paper 1 in Dropbox itself (in another folder): that succeeded and clicking on that copy also opened it in Paper directly! Victory! So I deleted the original paper 1. Just a few minutes later, after editing one of the papers, paper 3 had disappeared from the list in Paper. Same story: it still was there in Dropbox but doubleclicking only opened the Paper app and not the document. Also this document could be 'saved' by searching for it. And this time it also showed up in the Paper list. However, I still can't open in from within Dropbox and even more odd... after changing the title of paper 3 into something else (within Paper) the new name showed up in Paper but Dropbox still shows the old name... no matter what I do. I also notice that within Paper 2 documents show when they were last viewed but 1 document (paper 1) keeps on showing a time from yesterday, as if I didn't open it. Anyway... the information in these 3 documents is very important but I have to say I don't really trust Paper at this moment... I have dropbox installed on both my Windows PC as well as on my Linux notebook. I am looking for the .paper files but cannot seem to find them anywhere.
