33 Topics"Please enable browser-cookies..." message when trying to view file contents in browser
Hi, I can log in to dropbox.com andbrowse my folder structure, but when I click on a .txt file to view its contents I get the followingerror message: "Please enable browser-cookies to use the Dropbox website." Beneath the error message there is a login form, but the 'Login" button is disabled, and remains disabled even when I enter my username and password. Therefore I cannot login at this prompt (even though I am already logged in dropbox.com), and cannot view file contents. I am running Chrome56.0.2924.87 (64-bit) on macOS Sierra 10.12.3 (16D32) on a 2016 MacBook Pro. My Chrome cookie settings are the default ones, that is Preferences > Show advanced settings > Privacy > Content settings... > Cookies > "Allow local data to be set (recommended)" is enabled, and "Block third-party cookies and site data" is also enabled. Javascript is enabled too. Any ideas?Solved18KViews0likes12CommentsiOS unable to save to Dropbox from Chrome or Safari

Hey guys, I just recently switched from Google Drive to Dropbox for Business. Finder on Mac OS 10.14 Mojave and the new dropbox desktop app won’t show file previews of my files, just the Apple default preview logo. However on the iOS app and on the web file previews show. This is a big deal for me because google drive offers this. My team has to have this or we won’t continue to use Dropbox. If anyone has any solutions please advise. I tried closing and opening the app and force quitting using activity monitor. Best Derek8KViews2likes16CommentsCan’t open PDF, Docs, txt files on iOS

When I try to preview an Open Document format speadsheet (.ods) file in DropBox for iOS it shows as .zip instead of .ods and I can't view the spreadsheet contents. Does anyone have any suggestions fixes or work-arounds fr this? (I tried using DropBox support but they refused to answer because the email address for my DropBox account is a receive-only forwearding address and I can't send emails from it.}Solved7KViews0likes7CommentsPDF preview using Windows EXplorer
This is for my work account. We use smart sync at work. Using Windows Explorer if I open a folder I have never been to and there are PDFs present. I will then click on said PDF. A preview pops up in the preview pane within windows explorer. However, once i click on another file, if I click back on the initial PDF the preview pane remains empty. The previews do not come back by restarting windows explorer, or pdf, or PC. The only way for me to get them back is to open and save the document, which is not an option.5.6KViews0likes26CommentsSafari 16.1 (macOS Ventura) cannot access Dropbox files
Safari cannot open the page. The error is: "The operation couldn't be completed. (kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork error 1.)" (kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork:1) Dropbox recently moved itself to "a safer location", i.e., ~/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox. Everything was fine. Afterward, I upgraded macOS to 13.0 (Ventura). Safari is now ver 16.1 and cannot open html files stored in Dropbox. All other apps appear to be quite happy with cloud versions of Dropbox files, including Chrome, TextEdit, macVim, Terminal, etc. Probably something minor, but not sure what.Solved5.3KViews3likes28CommentsAfter latest Dropbox update, documents on Mac are set to open with Dropbox by default
MacBook Pro M1 with the MacOS Ventura13.1 installed. I use the Dropbox Plus plan, and I predominantly access files through my Finder app. The Dropbox app notified me of the new update — I installed and waited for everything to sync and index. Now everytime I try to open a file from Finder (tried with .png, .pdf, .ai, .jpg and several other random filetypes), the system attempts to open the file with Dropbox, and nothing happens (the file doesn't open in the application it's supposed to open in by default). I have to go to the "Open With" right-click menu and select the proper application by hand everytime, which is a tad annoying. Screenshots of Dropbox appearing on top of the "Open With" menu below, both with an "online-only" and an "available offline" dowloaded file. Thanks in advance, D.5.2KViews2likes38CommentsAudio Player Repeat Option
As a film and TV composer, are use dropbox exclusively for sharing and listening to files. It would be super amazingly handy if the player had a repeat button. Often times I want to listen to a certain cue over and over and this would make it extremely handySolved5KViews6likes11Comments
