It would be very useful -- and I know this has been mentioned many, many times on the forum -- to be able to delete the Recent and Sync history that shows *every dang time* you click the system tray icon. I have little need for the information. It would be best to allow a user to choose whether to look at the data as needed or every danged time. It would also be useful to simply be able to clear the data. There are times I do not want a visitor to see the names of other customers or clients. Medical offices, I'm sure, have troubles with this, as it could be a HIPA violation. I, honestly, yearn for the 'old' Dropbox tray app, that simply opened the local Dropbox directory and got out of the way.682Views1like2CommentsFirewall blocking dropbox.exeexe
Hi community, Can anyone tell me why Windows Firewall is blockingC:\program files (x86)\dropbox\client\dropbox.exeexe? Note the double exe at the end. It's that that is confusing me, otherwise I would just allow access, but I'm not sure if this is something fishy!!?5.2KViews0likes14CommentsCan't set passcode on mobile app
I have an Android phone (Android 12) and installed Dropbox on my phone and the app is not allowing me to set a passcode. I click the slider to enable passcode and it prompts me for passcode and then says "Passcode set", but the slider unsets itself and the passcode doesn't get set. Any suggestions?Solved2.8KViews0likes10Commentsdropbox.com is not available via the Internet provider, but OK via mobile
Hi, I have Dropbox app on 2 work PCs. Thus I keep my data sync-ed. Suddenly I've noticed that the data is out of sync. The Dropbox app is not reaching the cloud data. I've tried to connect to www.dropbox.com - no way. Timeout. Various browsers (Chrome, FF, Brave), different PCs and OSes (Window10, Linux Mint), at last, even my neighbor from his ones - to no avail. But when I've used the modem connected to the Internet via mobile provider - I've got success. Actually this message is composed in this way. Yesterday my ping www.dropbox.com returned success, today - not. Similarly, yesterday I could trace the route till 162.125.72.18, but today this is broken too. My provider cannot help me, they say. I'm desperate. Any help appreciated!Solved3.4KViews0likes19CommentsWhere are the passwords stored?

Or inside the browser add-on like localy on the PC inside browser files? Please can you explain more about this password function?Solved2.7KViews1like1Comment
