Hi, I have to coordinate among 3 total family members the sharing of storage. Basically, we have iPhones and MacBooks. Our house was just destroyed by fire. I am looking for an efficient way to track our purchases for goods and services for eventual reimbursement by our insurance company. Example: I buy clothing, my wife buys a jacket, my daughter buys a sweater. Receipts of all of these separate purchases could be uploaded to various Dropbox folders so that we could track them by category and eventually put them into an accounting document for submission to the insurance company. What dropbox account would work the most efficiently and easily for this type of family coordination and sharing? Any other organizational ideas for managing the data for sharing with the insurance company would be greatly appreciated.25Views0likes1CommentNew Family plan didn't move files from the old Family plan, why?
Good morning everyone. I have a slight problem, my companies family plan expired and then a new family plan was subscribed to but now all the work on the old family plan is not on the new family plan. Is the best thing to do to just copy and paste all files to the new family plan or is there another way to transfer all files to the new family plan?27Views0likes3CommentsCreating a shared file system with user-specific object-level access, which plan is good?
Dear all, I want to create a synchronized file system across two users working on different platforms. I need to control users' access to folders and files, while preserving the team's folder structure. Specifically, I want to give access to specific parts of the file system to different users without requiring them to reorganize their folders manually in order to reflect the team's hierarchy. Is there a way to set up such a structure ? If so, which subscription plan is required, and how should I proceed to implement this ? As it is for a personal (family) purpose, is Dropbox Family adapted ? I thank you in advance for your help.Solved645Views0likes6CommentsFalse missleading emails
Just got a email with the Title "⚠️Action requested: ****, your files are about to stop syncing!" Only for it to be a sales email telling me to upgrade my accout The accout has be used to archive some stuff and has not been added to in ages and has over 400MB of the 2GB free. "NOTICE: ****, your files will stop syncing soon." "Your Dropbox storage is reaching maximum capacity. Adding one more file could fill up your account—and keep you from syncing and accessing your files when you need them." Yes and adding 100 small files may not fill up or I may delete stuff to free space and it may never fill up This is nothing but false underhanded scare tactics spam to get people to upgrage. If this is not true please explain why my files will stop syncing Soon If I stay below my limits?7KViews9likes11CommentsNot sure about the differences between the Standard and Business plans

Hello and thank you in advance for taking the time to read me. My client currently hosts the data of its 4 companies on a single Dropbox Business account. He would like to clearly separate these entities by creating 4 accounts, one per company. Is it possible to synchronize 4 Dropbox Business accounts on the same workstation? I'm having trouble finding a clear answer to this question.533Views0likes1CommentWill adding a second account require data from the original to be re-synced?
Link or unlink two Dropbox accounts - Dropbox Help In order to use the desktop app and maintain data sync of the original account, when you add a second account will this require the original account's data to be re-synced, or does it simply set up a second location for the new account data and leave the original data unaffected?Solved741Views0likes1CommentConsequences for late payment of subscription
Hi there, I have 2TB plan ( which I have been on for years) and it is two weeks overdue for payment of the subscription plan. Wondering what the consequences of this will be if I still am unable to pay it for another couple of weeks. Will all my stuff just stay there, and I won't be able to sync until paid? Will I still be able to access it? and when I pay will it all be back to normal again? I tried to search this info elsewhere but couldn't find the answer. Thanks in advance for your help!Solved831Views0likes2CommentsMy account won't sync, even after I upgraded to a paid subscription; still says I'm on Basic
After getting an email saying I needed to upgrade my account, I logged into my apple ID and upgraded. Yet the account will not sync and still says I need to upgrade my account. It's maddening! I'm unable to contact support to fix the issue as when I login it still says I'm on a Basic account even though I have a paid Plus plan. Would love to be able to fix this if anyone has any suggestions or a direct support contact!Solved817Views0likes3Comments
