My files aren't syncing with my colleague, why?

You need to provide more information.
Are you getting any error messages? Is the Dropbox application installed and running? If so, what version is it? You can hover your cursor over the icon in your system tray (Windows) or menu bar (Mac) to check it's version and status. What operating system and version are you running.

app version is 398.2.2. Hope that’s what you mean. Me and my collegue work with Apple. Latest versions. Dropbox syncs nowhere. I can save my documents and she hers, but we don’t see eachothers documents.- JayDropbox Staff

Do your files appear on the Dropbox site when you save files in the Dropbox folder in Finder?
Are you using shared folders, and have you added each other to the folders?
