The files I upload to my mobile app take a lot of space from my iPhone 15.
I have an iPhone 15 pro max. I use Dropbox to back up from my computer and iPhone.
Here’s the problem. In uploading pictures and videos from the iPhone to Dropbox via the app. Then I delete the videos from my phone.
I’m doing this to increase memory in my iPhone. The problem is that the Dropbox app now has 88gb in the iPhone. If it’s in the cloud on Dropbox, why is it taking up storage space on the app? Can this be fixed?

Thanks for posting here today, Radman1965!
The Dropbox app shouldn’t take that much space from your mobile device indeed, as the files you upload aren’t stored locally on your phone.
The most possible reason why this is happening is if you've made them offline first on the Dropbox app (with these steps). You can double check this this way.
Let me know if that’s the case here.
