Apple Silicon (M1) Desktop Sync Compatibility
Please can you upgrade the Dropbox app so that it works natively on Apple Silicon Macs (M1) without Rosetta.
Rosetta is not an option as it annihilates the battery.
This may be a duplicate of the below idea however that started for ARM processors in general and you haven't looked at it in 6 years so starting an Apple specific idea in the hope you see it.
There are also lots of comments on this thread to help support the case for demand:
Hi all,
Native Apple silicon support is now fully available. All users with Apple silicon devices will receive the native version of Dropbox automatically. If you would like to update your device manually, you can do so by clicking on the latest Stable Build and downloading the Offline Installer (Apple Silicon) file. I have "dropped " google drive for dropbox originally because of the app feature level and I must stress my disappointment for Lori "Dropboxer" comment that more votes are needed.
Basically dropbox does not care about one of the most noticeable evolution of Apple in the past years with the introduction of the M1 processor.
While all major software companies are implementing native support for it (Adobe, Microsoft etc...) dropbox is looking for "votes".
That's not really what I call field marketing, strategy and competitive watch.
Dropbox, please keep abreast of the times and emerging technology trends.

I can’t believe the Dropbox app isn’t optimized for Apple Silicon yet! It’s been over a year. Just got a new MacBook Pro and notice the increased memory resources.
Please prioritize this issue. I think Dropbox has are quite a few of Mac users as paying customers. And looking forward, not many x86-based Macs will be sold …

This really needs to happen. Dropbox has been a huge part of my workflow and going to a new apple product with an Silicon chip I do hesitate to keep Dropbox as a part of my products

Yeaahhhh this is going to get awkward once all the M1 Macs start being delivered over the next month. If it's not ready by then I'm cancelling all my accounts (business and personal).

What's a good alternative to Dropbox for both medium business and enterprise? This is the last straw for us and we are thinking of moving away from Dropbox.

Make Apple Silicon native or I take my. Usiness to iCloud which I already pay for!

Wow, wouldn't have expected Dropbox to not support Apple Silicon already. Need to consider switching to another service once my new Mac arrives.
