Dear Nancy,
I found a solution: once I started dropbox I had to (very quickly) sign out. Once I did that, and restarted the app, I was able to sign in again and everything worked as it should.

Can you send me a screenshot of the error you’re seeing on your end, when the Dropbox app crashes?
Is the error log you’re seeing something similar to the one showing here?
