I recently upgraded to a new machine with Ventura. Dropbox had issues afterward, telling me it was corrupt, syncing was stuck, telling me it had 30GB to sync, etc. I uninstalled and reinstalled with the version available.
Now when I try to run the app I get this message:
The error is:

What happened here? I'm guessing this is a compatibility problem with Ventura?
Thanks for any help

The fix recommended is:
Execute following command in terminal:
rm -rf ~/.dropbox
Before I go running commands I dont understand, can someone please explain what it does and why its appropriate? Thanks
