Sorry I was looking at the apps on bottom of screen, in the top menu bar I did find a dropbox icon and was able to open it and reset syncing which had been paused.

nothing changed, when I try to start the Dropbox App all it does is open my MAC OS finder app and shows one of the dropbox folders that has been shared with me but not the second folder that has been shared with me and not my own dropbox folders, all of these folders show up on my androids tablet and phone when I start up the dropbox app.

Hey skulduggery - sorry to hear you're still having issues with this.
Can you please try an advanced reinstall and let us know if you're still getting the same error when trying to launch the desktop app on your computer?

Thank you, Walter, for your reply to skulduggery. I performed the advanced reinstall as you recommended. The Dropbox app now works perfectly on my MBP with Monterey OS 12.1 ! Much appreciated.
