Sorry I was looking at the apps on bottom of screen, in the top menu bar I did find a dropbox icon and was able to open it and reset syncing which had been paused.

Dropbox icon does not appear I'm my menu bar, when I go to applications and click on the Dropbox icon it opens a Finder window that shows one of the folders that have been shared with me. This also means I do not appear to have anyway to syncing. I see somewhere it expains a possible reason for the icon not showing up anmd says to reinstall it which I have done. I note that when I look at the force quit Dropbox does not appear in the list.

Hello, I have the same problem, My Dropbox App crashes at launch after installing Monterey. I already try the Full Access thing and Accessibility thing that is mentioned by Megan in another post. I already did the advanced uninstall thing too and reinstalled, but still crashes at launch... Do you have any other idea. (I don't have any error message...)

Hey PieR2, thanks for the nudge here and sorry to see you're having trouble.
Is it possible that you have the beta version of the app installed? That could cause some issues.
Please hover your mouse over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar. If you see something like 'xxx.3.xxxx', it means you have the beta version installed.
So, to install the stable version, you'll need to go to your account settings, switch off the 'early releases' option and then reinstall the app.
Let us know how it goes!
