Hey pabooth, sorry to see about this error.
Have you tried an advanced reinstall, by any chance?
If not, please give it a go and let me know about any updates.
Ping me when you’re ready.

Hi Nancy
I tried this and I thought it was going to work. I have the basic plan linking 3 devices. Dropbox thought I was adding a 4th. I deleted linking to my iMac as it thought I was adding it again as another device.
Seemed to be OK, but then after I signed in a got the same message as before!
Any further suggestions?
Thanks,
Phil

Hey Phil, thanks for the update on this.
Did you remove your old installation(s) on this computer from your security page before reinstalling the app?
If you did and still get an error, is it the exact same error as you originally got or another one?
