Hi JenAnneS,
For Basic plan, you can connect up to 3 devices (all together - including mobile). You can see what's connected already here. So, if you have only 2 devices, you can connect one more. If you need, you can disconnect some already connected device there to left a free "place". The devices place doesn't matter.

If you are on a Dropbox Basic plan, then you can have at most 3 devices connected to your account. This means 3 computer logins (so a different login on the same computer would be a new 'device'), and mobile devices inclusive.
