New Temporary Mac
I made a bootable backup of my 2016 MacBook Pro before wiping it and dropping it off at the apple store. While it's being repaired I got a MacMini to use that I'll be setting up Dropbox on and working on project files for school.
When the MacBook Pro is fixed I'm going to restore the previous backup on that MacBook Pro which had DropBox running on it, when it goes to sync will it use the most updated files from DropBox? If not what can I do to make sure it does.
Hey there brandoncaballero - thanks for using Dropbox and happy new Year!
There shouldn't be an issue with this, but note that you can also just download and install the desktop app and let it sync your changes once you get set up on your MacBook Pro anew (without running it from your backup that is).
I hope this helps!

Thanks Walter! Everything worked out great. I was just a little worried since I was restoring the entire OS from a back up.
