Hi, it looks like this bug has been fixed with the release of version 219.4.4463. Thanks!
Hi Megan,
Thanks for the reply! This is in fact an on-screen notification, which shows up for a moment each time you enable/disable num lock (or open Dropbox 🙃).
When I open DB this notification pops up regardless what my current num lock status is - whether it's been previously set on or off by pressing the key.
The DB version is v215.4.7202
Got it, thanks for the heads up Mistic_John!
If you quit our app, and try to open your Dropbox folder do you notice the same behavior?
Also, how long has this been happening, and do you notice this with other folders too?
Hi Megan,
I have a short video clip just to show how it looks on my end, but I'm not sure how to share it here.
I quit the app and it didn't help, but it did upgrade DB to 216.4.4420.
The problem persists ever since I upgraded my Windows from 10 to 11, which is about a month ago. Doesn't happen with any other application or function. It's just Dropbox somehow triggering the num lock.
I'd like to make a correction to my previous post - the notification shows up only if the num lock has already been previously enabled with the key. If it's been disabled, opening DB does not trigger the notification. So it's not that the num lock gets actually switched on or off by DB, it's only the notification popping up for whatever reason.
Hi there Mistic_John - thanks for the additional information there.
Can you please try a reinstall and let me know if this persists?
If it does, you could also try creating a new OS profile and trying to install the app there.
