I am running a brand new Macbook pro on the latest OS. I have downloaded the installer file without issue, but when I run it, it says "the download failed" instantly. It retries every 10 seconds and ...

solved it! I was logged in into dropbox on another computer. Just had to sign out and i could install without any problem..

I'm sorry. I don't know what you did to fix this but it doesn't work. The downoad absolutely does not work on my computer no matter what link I use. I'm running Sierra 10.12.2.
