The Dropbox application does not open on my Windows 10 computer

My Dropbox application does not open. I have uninstalled and installed again, I have restarted the computer but it does not open. I use Windows 10 Pro.

I can see all the files when I open my account in the browswer, but the desktop app does not work.

I can open it in an android, but not in windows.

Hey Marian10, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Do you see a small Dropbox icon next to your computer's clock, on your system tray?

If so, please hover over it and let us know what you see.

Also, do you perhaps have any security apps, like an antivirus, VPN, firewall, etc., that might be blocking the Dropbox app?

Let me know and we'll go from there.

      Hi Hannah,

Thanks for answering. In the toolbar I have the Dropbox icon, and it does not work. However, now, the icon inn the desktop is now working. Sure I have antivirus, but that I cannot deactivate it.

      Best,

      Marian10

Hey Marian10, if you're still having issues with this, could you install the latest version of the desktop app from this page directly and let us know how it goes?
