Charged for an account I can no longer access
Hi Community,
I left my software company a year ago, and I thought we had cancelled the dropbox business account. I just received a $540.00 charge on my AMEX. Since I no longer work for the company, I do not have a valid email to log into the account.
How can I speak with someone to resolve this? If needed I'll dispute the charge but I'd rather have the Dropbox team take care of it.
Of course, since I now have just a basic personal account, I can't call or chat...

In this case, I would suggest opening a support request directly with our team. You can do so, by following these steps:
- Open a private browsing/incognito window and go to this page.
- In the "I want to look up information related to" section, choose "other" and type in an email address you can access.
- Fill out the rest of the form.
- Click "submit".
Let us know when you have your ticket number.

Hi Hannah, I resubmitted the ticket using my current email, not the old email I no longer have access to.

I no longer have access to the email address associated with this charge. So, I am NOT getting the response with the ticket number. I can see the charge, but it was supposed to be cancelled. Should I simply dispute the charge? Please advise.

I submitted the information as you have requested but when I submitted successfully only says Thanks we'll be in touch. We'll respond to your help request in 1-2 days.
I would very much like this to be resolved a I cannot afford to pay this amount.
