Family member getting 'dropbox full' emails
I upgraded my 2TB plan to a Family plan and added my spouse who had the basic free account on their own. They joined the Family Plan and their email address shows up in my settings as being a member. They continue to get emails saying: Your 2 GB Dropbox Basic account is out of storage. Do they need to "close" their previous account? Ignore the emails and use the Family plan folders? The emails are annoying them and I'd like to get this fixed. Any ideas welcomed. Thank you.

Are you sure they are to the exact same emails? I'm guessing here that they've accepted with one email but other account is still active with a different. This is especially so with Gmail addresses that allow multiple email addresses to go to one mailbox (eg. by using punctuation before the @ sign or interchanging gmail.com and googlemail.com).
A quick way to test is to put a file in the folder on your computer that you think is in her family account and see if it appears on there's.

Thank you for your quick reply. The emails appear to be exactly the same sent to the same (and current) email address. When using the web version of Dropbox (their desktop app is linked to work account and didn't want to mix) they can see all files in the Family and shared folders.
Any other thoughts appreciated.- Mark

It could be then that its just a delay on the emails being sent.
As long as there account shows the right plan at www.dropbox.com/account etc. all will be good :)

Thank you again. All does look good at account settings and we turned off "storage is full" emails while there, so hopefully they will stop and all is well. Thanks for the confirmation.
