I cancelled a trial upgrade from Plus to Essentials, which downgraded me to Basic plan
Hello,
This is my first time posting here, but I find myself desperate. I paid for Dropbox Plus in August 2024 and have receipts to show for it. I recently decided to do a trial upgrade to Dropbox Essentials because I was having syncing issues and wondered if that would help. It did not - the syncing issues were resolved, related to something else. Today I went in to cancel my Essentials Trial since I no longer need it. Rather than placing me back on my Dropbox Plus account, I was downgraded all the way to Basic, which is now telling me I am using 40,033% of my storage. My only option is to upgrade, but I have already paid for a Dropbox Plus account and do not want to pay again. Can anyone advise? Of course I cannot reach Dropbox directly, so I don't know how to get this resolved...but I really don't think I should have to pay Dropbox again when I've already paid for the service they revoked from me. Any insight would be most appreciated.

Hi Anna_AI, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Are you certain that you upgraded the correct account? Do you see any confirmed payments (with an invoice and receipt) on this page on your account for the Plus subscription?
Did you upgrade to the trial via the Dropbox site directly, or via the mobile app? According to your bank statement, were you charged by Dropbox, iTunes or Google Play?
This will help me to assist further!
