I want to get Dropbox Plus but I receive an error "Something went wrong. Please refresh the page"

I keep getting this message "Something went wrong. Please refresh the page or contact customer support" in red at the top of the screen when I attempt to purchase Dropbox Plus. I currently have Basic. 

 

I chatted with a salesperson but they were unable to help and referred me to this forum. Please help. I want to be able to utilize my dropbox.

    Hey cacollins, are you able to see any payments on your account from this page?

     

    Also, can you please follow these steps?

     

    1. Open your Dropbox app and tap 'Account'
    2. Tap on the gear icon at the top of your screen to access your settings
    3. Tap on 'Restore purchases'

     

    This should activate your last upgrade. If this doesn't work, give me a shout.

    Hey cacollins, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

     

    May I ask if you've tried an alternative payment method to upgrade your account?

     

    Just to make sure, have you tried to upgrade using a different browser or a private browsing window?

     

    Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

      I get the error message when I use Safari on my phone, and Chrome, Firefox, or Safari on my computer. The Dropbox app won't let me purchase either saying I have another Dropbox account with my Apple ID. 

       

      Actually, I found that I am paying for Plus through the iphone but I don't have access to a Plus account? I used to. How did my dropbox become disconnected from my account? It says my subscription renews July 20.
