Why has my 100GB promotion from Acer not been activated?

How do I access the 100GB promotion associated with buying a new ACER computer/laptop?

I followed the instructions by creating a new account but it created a new free account with only 2GB and an offer to upgrade.

I've tried to contact Dropbox but there isn't a contact number and only bots that aren't helpful.

Thanks in advance, if anyone can help.

Hi tatianak, thanks for messaging the Community!

Did you create the Dropbox account directly from the pre-installed version of Dropbox on your computer?

Have you tried completing the Get Started steps?

This will help me to assist further!

      Hi Jay,

To be honest, I'm not sure. I had to wipe my laptop to factory settings and when I turned it back on and started the set up, I received a message regarding Dropbox. I tried to set up a new account but the email address I added was already in use (this was the one I opened the new account with and was given 2GB and not 100GB).

So, just to check again, this was a new laptop that you restored to factory settings?

Was there a Dropbox account already associated with the promotional offer prior to the wipe?
