Not receiving 6 digit verification code
I have been trying to access my dropbox account for the past month and have not received any 6 digit access code emails or any password reset emails, or for that matter any emails from Dropbox. I pay a monthly subscription fee so I don't think my account has been shut down as I have seen in other threads. I NEED these files!

I had previously added the no-reply@dropbox.com email to my contacts and that did not solve the problem. I was able to pull out my old computer, thankfully, and the code was being sent as a notification and not as an email. So I am in now but if I had not been able to resurrect my computer from the dead things would still be a problem!

Hello,
I have run out of options. I am trying to sign in to our client's Dropbox Teams account but I am not getting the OTP. Dropbox is already whitelisted and we ran the message trace in O365 and did not see any email come in from Dropbox. The email address can receive emails from other senders so the mailbox is fine.
We submitted a ticket to Dropbox support but was only told that they do not monitor the account. I sent a follow up email to inquire what they meant by this - if the account has been cancelled, suspended etc and I have not gotten any response at all.

First of all, can you please send me any ticket numbers you may have, in order to locate them in our system?
Since you’ve checked a few things already, I understand you’ve also looked into the spam folder and the email isn’t there either.
Has this email address received any Dropbox emails at all recently? Can you also add no-reply@dropbox.com to the email contacts, and attempt to resend the one-time code?

Here's the original ticket number that was generated when we sent an email to Dropbox support - 22583337.
Yes I've added no-reply@dropbox.com as an O365 Contact and made sure it's whitelisted but it still did not send an OTP.
O365's message trace do not show any logs of emails coming from no-reply@dropbox.com. There is nothing in the Quarantine or Spam folders.

I can't login. I enter my email address and then my password. Then it tells me a code is sent to my email address but I don't receive that (I can check the spambox on Monday but I don't believe it's there). How else can I login?

Hey EJ27! I’d still suggest you check your email’s spam folder first, as there’s a chance the code is there indeed.
If this doesn’t work out, please also add no-reply@dropbox.com to your email contacts, and try to resend the code.
Besides that, you can check for any linked devices, as the 6-digit code may have been sent as a notification there.
Claudia28, can you please send me the ticket number from your convo with our support team?

Hello! I have a problem with the mail that dropbox sends with the 6 number code. I don't receive any mail from dropbox so I cannot enter into my account. My mail account works well because I receive mail from other addresses. Then I looked for the dropbox mail in spam but there isn't. I contacted the support that suggested me to reset password but I didn't received the mail for the resecting password. I also wrote a mail to my provider mail account and they wrote me that it works and that they need a message of not delivering from dropbox. I need help. I need my file in dropbox cloud. What can I do? Thank you for your help.

Hello, I had to create this new account because my other account is not recieving the password reset or the 6 digit code. I have already tried logging in in. private browser, clearing the cache, adding the no reply email to my contact list. But nothing seems to be working.

I have for a long time an account and i have never activate the two step verification. Now I am trying to log in and i have problem because I have to write down an extra 6-digit code but nothing comes to my email which I have as a username at my dropbox account. How can I skip that?

I'm going to try very hard not to vent so here goes.
Once again I've been having difficulty logging into a business account (which I manage for a sports club). I go through the motions of "checking the cat in the box/checking the traffic light etc" and I get to "we're going to send a 6 digit code to the registered email address" which never arrives (no it's not in junk). So you get to this useless Chat Bot which prompt a question and my response is "I can't log in" which just goes around and around and tells me I need to login to a paid account (dah!!). Then I try to raise a ticket which tells me they'll get back to me within 24 hours which is no good to me at all. I've searched for a phone number but that is just as pointless. The only glimmer of hope is a delayed response from the Facebook page. What I need is some method to get even a modicum of support from DropBox that I can rely on. In the mean time, my client is waiting patiently for me to sort their problems out. So I guess my question is "what can I do? I'm dead in the water (again)".

For how long has this been going on? Is this the first time that you’ve tried to contact our support team, or did you manage to log a ticket with them in the past?
If the latter, can you please send me any ticket numbers you may have, so that I can look into this?

I haven't created a support ticked as I can't log in. Previously ticket #22754874 was created. On that occasion it was a remote laptop (Team Viewer). I've tried to contact via Facebook but that isn't particularly successful other than to pass the problem to someone else. I should probably add that I responded to you via email as I couldn't log in via user and password as it directed me to the emailed 6 digit code. The only way I could log in was via Google which was also convoluted but successful. I have since contacted Telstra (Bigpond email provider and if you're not from Australia you won't understand how ineffective they are) to see if there was some reason they may be blocking the code email but the default answer is "they'll get to me in 3 to 5 days".
The issue is the lack of ability to get help when needed. That and other issues has forced me to evaluate other providers as I have clients who are relying on me.
