Cannot create a new account with my email even though the account is deleted

 I was trying to create a dropbox and I accidentally clicked on the business profile instead of personal basic one. So I cancelled my free trail and deleted my account hoping i could create a new personal one. I did not know I need to wait 30 days to create a new one. Can someone help as I would want to create the dropbox account now?

    Can you let us know the exact error you're getting when trying to create a new account under that address?

     

    A screenshot would be most helpful.

     

    Also, does the website allow you to login to Dropbox using that email address?

     

    Let me know and we'll go from there.

      Hi Hannah, I'm trying to create for this email. I can't use this email address anymore as it's disabled now for 30 days.

        I'm suggesting this route, since I'm going to need some account-specific info on my end.

    I created a business team account as a trial. The trail expired and I would now like to start over or downgrade using the same email for the account. I do not need a team/Business account. When I contacted customer service through the chabot they advised me to cancel the account.

    I did so and now when I try to create a new account with a basic plan I cannot do so for 30 days. How can I set up the account with the same email without waiting a month? I was hoping to set up the same day.

        Hi Hannah - Yes it's the same issue. If you could please email me to investigate and resolve. I'm not able to log-in anymore with the email I set up the account with since it's been de-activated so using my personal account here. Thanks.
