macOS finder broken after uninstalling dropbox

Dropbox full (no syncing). Backup from mac activated (Desktop, Documents, Download)   User logout -> dropbox uninstalled -> dropbox trashed and delated -> Desktop+Documents+Downloads disappeared!!!...

Hi there eaa89 - sorry to hear about this.

 

When you say that your Desktop, Documents and Downloads folder disappeared, could you elaborate a tad? 

 

Are you not seeing them at all on your computer or in your computer's trash can? 

 

Also, do you see your backed up folders in the backups page? 

 

Any additional information is more than welcome!
