I did the update and it seems to have sorted things out. Hopefully this was the fix that was needed.

I fixed mine by going Settings>Dropbox... then enable Background App Refresh.

Mine hasnt worked for ages but using the suggestion from Jkaizer it now works. In settings go to General > background app refresh and turn on for drop box; now all files open instantly - before this nothing was opening. Thanks guys, great help

I also tried to reset the network settings, didn’t work either...
