Changing to another business team
Hi! I've been part of a business team with one company, but have now move to another company. I've been deleted as a team member from the previous company's dropbox (confirmed as I no longer had any access to any of the team folders), but the new company still gets the error message " this user is already part of another team" when trying to invite me to join their dropbox. Does anybody know how to solve this please?
Hi Tworst, are they being invited to the new Dropbox Business team under the exact same email?
If so, and they were definitely fully deleted from the old team, then it would take 7 days for that email to be released in order to create a new account. This gives the old admin time to recover the account if it was done unintentionally.
After 7 days have passed, you should be able to invite that email to the new Dropbox Business team.

Hi Nancy
Thank you for responding to my query. Maybe I should explain in more detail: our company has a dropbox account with our admin person as team member. We have recently sold the business and the new company has set up its own dropbox. The internal emails have stayed the same as they have taken over the existing structure. The admin person has been deleted as team member from our dropbox team, but still gets the email error when they try to invite her as team member to the new dropbox. Initially I thought it's just a matter of time, but she's now been deleted for two days and can still not be invited to new dropbox. Hope you can advise.
