How can I make sure my Dropbox trial is cancelled?
Allen, Dropbox zegt dat ik een proefabonnement heb genomen. Daar weet ik niets van en om dat ongedaan te maken is onmogelijk. Wie weer de oplossing?

Hallo JGAV, en bedankt voor het posten op ons forum vandaag!
Heb je al je e-mailadressen gecontroleerd (zowel je inbox als je spammap) en is er geen upgradebevestiging van Dropbox?
Als je de specifieke Dropbox-e-mail kunt vinden, kun je met dat e-mailadres inloggen bij Dropbox en proberen te annuleren via je abonnementspagina hier.
Als je Dropbox-account echter is geüpgraded via iTunes/Google Play, moet je deze op deze manier annuleren.

Have you checked all your email addresses (both your inbox and spam folder), and there’s no upgrade confirmation from Dropbox?
If you can find the specific Dropbox email, you can log into Dropbox with that email address and try to cancel via your Plan page here.
In case your Dropbox account has been upgraded via iTunes/Google Play though, you’ll need to cancel this way.

Beste Nancy, ik heb van alles geprobeerd, maar kom niet verder. Op mijn account zie ik alleen de vrije Dropbox staan, maar Dropbox zegt mij, als ik niet reageer op mijn proefabonnement, wat ik volgens mij NIET geb aanfmgemaakt, dan gaat het automatisch over naar een vast abonnement en dat wil ik niet en kan ik ook niet betalen. Dear Nancy, that is just the problem.
I've received an email that suggest that I have asked for a trial subscription, ans in my opinion, I did not, but the answer I get is to go to Google Play Store to undo the trial subscription. But when I look to my account, I can only see my free account and nothing else, so I think that I've received a suggestion that I have a trial subscription. But I can't find that. Where I am afraid of is, that I will be too late with deleten the so called trial subscription and I can't pay for any other subscription.
I also can't get any further with my steps to do anything to delete the trial subscription.

To clarify, have you checked your Google Play account and there’s no subscription for Dropbox there? Please check the following pages, and let me know if you can find something more (feel free to send me screenshots too, while hiding your personal info):

I still have no answer if my trial subscription has been stopped and and if I use sign out when I see in my account, is this for signing out for trial subscription or sign out for Total Dropbox?
Why is it not possible to react by email, that is far more easier and safer for the client?

Ik zie nergens staan of ik een proefabonnement heb maar ze zeggen als ik een proefabonnement heb aangevraagd en niet opzeg, ik vast zit aan dit abonnement. Wat ik ook doe het lukt mij niet. Ook geen foto's van screenshots toesturen lukt mij niet.
Ik kan mijn financieel gezien ook helemaal geen (proef)abonnement permitteren. HEL HELP HELP PLEASE. Thank you.

- JGAVExplorer | Level 3Beste Allen, een hartaanval nabij, omdat ik nergens kan ontdekken dat ik een proefabonnement heb genomen en volgens mij heb ik dat ook niet, maar wat ik niet kan maar wel moet van Dropbox is dat ongedaan maken voordat vanaf 17 april 30 dagen om zijn. Het enige abonnement wat ik kan zien is het vrije kosteloze Basic abonnenent.

I am close to having a heartattack, because I can't ans do not know how to work with Dropbox. You can see that in my history, 6 years ago was the first and last time my free Basic Dropbox account was activate, but I have never used Dropbox, just because I am not able at all to work with external programs, just because I don't know what to do and I never can't renember my steps I have taken. So if you can explain to me how I can send you a screenshot of my free subscription, maybe this will help to continue me that I have NO trial subscription or any one but the free subscription as mentioned above.

Beste Walter, zojuist bericht ontvangen, maar weer via Dropbox systeem en dat werkt niet. Kunt u alstublieft met een extern emailadres communiceren en via Dropbox, want dan is het probleem zo opgelost. Het lukt mij kennelijk niet goed genoeg om het via het Dropbox systeem te regelen. Alstublieft stuur mij een email buiten Dropboxststeem om naar [personal information removed per the Community's Guidelines].

In my opinion this is not correct because as far as I know I've never activate a trial subscription and I don't see that subscription in my FREE BASIC ACCOUNT.
So that, in my opinion, I may conclude that the only subscription I have is the FREE BASIC SUBSCRIPTION.
Can you conform this, please, because this is the only way I can get an answer on my question.
One way or an other way, I am not able to contact Dropbox on an other way than like this way.
The reason that, in my opinion, I don't have a trial subscription, is simply that I can't afford it fibancially.

As for your current subscription, if you see that you're on the Basic plan on your account's settings online, then you don't need to worry about any trial as this subscription is free.

Dear Walter, thanks for this answer, this is where I was waiting for.
Just to know, that my BASIC Free Subscription is the only subscription I have and not the so called trial subscription or any other subscription.
This is very helpfull.
Now I can sign out Dropbox, because this is for me something that I can't handle, because I can't get control how to use it.
I've made a screenshot of your confirnation that I only have a FREE BASIC SUBSCRIPTION!

Is it correct that you don't see on your account if you have a trial subscription or not?
I always saw, before April 17, 2024, a single arrow by sending a photo and now I see a double arrow when I make and sent a photo.
Therefore my question if this has anything to do with a trial subscription or not.
Therefore it is for me still uncertain if and why I don't see any change of subscription(s) on my account.
Please can you give my mind a reason not to worry anymore on the trial subscription issue?

Other emails were ever made but for a very long time not in use.
The only email contact I use for Dropbox is my current email.
Oké, if it is so, that I don't have used only this email than I can Close my email account forever without any other problems.
I will close the Free Dropbox Account by using the link at the bottom of my account.
