I can't cancel my plan; a verification code is sent to my inactive email address.

I can't cancel my subscription plan because the email associated with the account no longer exists, it was an email from my university and it's now deleted so I can't sign in and I keep getting charged for the subscription for years. I know the email and password but I couldn't log in since I could not get the verification email. I want to cancel the subscription but I could not find any way to reach a support. What should I do?

Hi baba8235! Thanks for posting on our forum about this.

When saying you can’t receive the verification email, I’m guessing you’re referring to this one-time code, right?

Do you remember if the account was upgraded via www.dropbox.com, or the iTunes/Google Play app on your mobile device?

I can guide you from there.

      Hi! Nancy, thanks for replying!

I really don’t remember this. I even needed to use the transaction code on my bill to find out the account that has upgraded.

is there other way to do it?

No worries, baba8235! You can double check this in your bank statement (if there’s any reference to Apple/Google next to your Dropbox charges, then this is an in-app plan indeed).

Let me know what you find and we’ll check this further.
