I have the same type of problem, I have a basic free account, which I hardly used. And than I signed up for 2GB account. How can I get rid of Free Dropbox. When I sign in .....it wants to get to Dropbox free account, instead of my paid account.

Hey jimwtice. If you want to delete your free Dropbox account entirely, you can do so with these steps.
Keep in mind though that any files you have on your free Basic account will be permanently deleted with it, as well. In this case, you can either download them to your computer first and then delete the account, or you can move them over to your paid account this way.
