After the dropbox app (Window 10) updates itself to the latest111.4.472 version, I'm getting this 'Cannot establish a secure connection'. I've checked my time on my laptop, router. It's fine. I've disabled firewalls and the whole Eset Security. I've checked my ports. Everything is fine. I've turned off the proxy setting inside app. Scanned my system for viruses, nothing fount. The only solution is to revert back to the older version, but if I do so, the app will update itself so I'm at the beginning.Solved41KViews44likes440CommentsHow do I remove Dropbox from my Mac if I get an error message when attempting to uninstall?
I am trying to delete the Dropbox app from my Mac, but it gives me an error message saying 'The item “Dropbox” can’t be moved to the Trash because some of its plugins are in use', even after closing all other open applications. What could these plugins be and how can I stop them from being in use? ThanksSolved136KViews20likes48CommentsError downloading folder through web client
I'm trying to download a large folder through the web client. After I click download I'm prompted to save a small file called unspecified.htm, which saves and then nothing else happens. I'm sure I've used this feature successfully before. Any idea what's happening? I've tried both download methods - click the folder and click download at the top, and right click. I can download individual files successfully. Tried Mozilla Firefox & Chrome,Windows 10.Solved59KViews19likes103CommentsI cannot install the desktop app on Linux Fedora 37

This may take a moment.
I have been experiencing a very frustrating issue with Dropbox the past few days. Issue: After restarting my Mac Studio (MacOS 13.6.5), Dropbox always gets stuck with the message: Reconnecting to the internet. This may take a moment. No VPN No Firewall Home Network Fully updated Dropbox The thing that is baffling is that : If you Quit and restart Dropbox it works immediately but if you restart the computer the issue appears again If you wait for a long time Dropbox eventually connects and syncs. But it takes a long time On the same computer, about a week ago, Dropbox was syncing instantly after reboot. I have tried already reinstalling and deleting the cache folder. Is this a known issue that's going on at the moment> Many thanksSolved25KViews11likes120Comments"files stay here for the team" prevents me from moving files from team to personal folder
I - a TEAM ADMIN - cannot move files or folders from a team folder, to my personal (i.e. ADMIN) folder. I get an incredibly annoying message "files stay here for the team". How do I get around this?9.2KViews9likes54CommentsDropbox MacOS extension supporting > Monterey?
Hi. I've just upgraded my Mac to MacOS Monterey and received the warning below. Apple recommends that I contact Dropbox about this, and though I am a paying customer, the only support mechanism that I can see is a relatively naïve Chatbot that could not parse my questions. Hopefully the community (and Dropbox staff who monitor it) will be able to reply. Does Dropbox offer or plan to offer an updated extension for MacOS? Apple indicates the current one I have will become obsolete... Thanks!Solved14KViews9likes49CommentsError message when deleting folders
I have used Dropbox for years and have never had this problem. I'm cleaning up my files and when I try to delete a folder I get this message: There are too many files in one request. Please retry with fewer files. What has changed? How do I go about deleting my folders?Solved14KViews8likes69Comments
