I am running out of space with my 1TB drive. Is there an option to get 2TB? I know about Dropbox for business, with 5 Tb, but the price is just not compatible with my needs. It is too big a jump from 1Tb price to minimum of 5 users at $ 15 each.Solved26KViews31likes70CommentsFamily plan is too expensive for what it offers
While I would like to have the ability for my wife and I to share a combined account with our own individual logins - it's not worth the extra $80/year, almost doubling the cost for only a limited increase in features. If it came with double the storage I might consider it, but even then I'm not sure I need that much more storage at the moment. Please reconsider the pricing on the family plan as I will never upgrade at anywhere near that price. It makes more sense to just have 2 Plus accounts since it comes with the extra storage. With the amount of competition out there for similar cloud storage, it's getting more difficult to justify the cost of dropbox, so I was really expecting a minimal increase in price, if any at all versus the Plus plan I am currently paying for.13KViews21likes32CommentsIs there a cheaper plan than the Plus plan, that offers more space?
my question is: Is there any plan that is even cheaper than the normal basic plan of 2000 tb? It happens that I want to have more storage space, but the cheapest plan is still quite expensive. Is there an alternative storage plan, which is cheaper?Solved25KViews11likes171CommentsFalse missleading emails
Just got a email with the Title ":warning:Action requested: ****, your files are about to stop syncing!" Only for it to be a sales email telling me to upgrade my accout The accout has be used to archive some stuff and has not been added to in ages and has over 400MB of the 2GB free. "NOTICE: ****, your files will stop syncing soon." "Your Dropbox storage is reaching maximum capacity. Adding one more file could fill up your account—and keep you from syncing and accessing your files when you need them." Yes and adding 100 small files may not fill up or I may delete stuff to free space and it may never fill up This is nothing but false underhanded scare tactics spam to get people to upgrage. If this is not true please explain why my files will stop syncing Soon If I stay below my limits?7KViews8likes11CommentsWhy can't a single user get an Advanced Account without paying for 3 users?
I'm frustrated with Dropbox plans. I'm a single user who doesn't want to pay for a 3 team plan to gain more storage capacity. Currently I'm in a 5T plan that my account shares jointly with the other institution. The institutions plan was downgraded to a lesser plan. I'm the soul producer of digital material that I share with this institution. I can no long sync my material to the account since its over capacity now. I want to upgrade my account to the Advance Account for unlimited storage. I miss understood the plan pricing. It said a yearly plan was $288 thinking I could handle this pricing. But then it came to checking out it said it would be $864, shock! Then realized it was for three users at that price. Don't advertise single user pricing upfront when you can only get it for the price of $864. No one gives a crap about single user pricing when you can't get single user pricing. Please consider the little guy who is productive and is just single user team! I've loved Dropbox but your plans suck! Any suggestions or possible future plans that are reasonable for the little guy without breaking the bank. Thank You Eric3.5KViews7likes16CommentsI've paid for my account but it's not showing up
My account was charged for a new month's subscription yesterday. Then this morning, I get an email telling me that my account is full, out of space, no longer syncing. I went to my account and logged in, and it says I need to upgrade, that I'm only a Basic user! But, I am a PLUS user and have been for many years! I'm not going to pay to upgrade my account to a level I'm already at - especially when they just billed me yesterday! The payment was successfully processed, I checked. So, there is no reason for this. NONE of this makes ANY sense to me whatsoever: - My bank account processed the payment for my subscription successfully. - I pay for my subscription through Google Play - which shows me as an active Plus member, with my next payment being due in April. - The email I received was telling me to upgrade to the next level of 3 TB. But, 3 TB is NOT the next level up from Basic - 2 TB is! So, that makes it seem as if I'm already at 2 TB...? - When I logged into my account, it said I was using a little under 6 GB, and that I was full, out of space, no longer syncing - meaning I'm in a Basic account. Since the account is showing me as Basic, I'm unable to contact anyone in Customer Support for help - no phone, no chat, no email. Apparently, that is only for "paid" customers - WHICH I AM!! I need help with this. I need to know if any Dropbox employees monitor these boards and might see this...??? I have MANY important documents saved in my cloud, so I need this working correctly again! Any help would be extremely appreciated. Please. Thank you, Lori5.4KViews6likes35CommentsWhy do you say I have no space when I do?
I am using 2.81 GB of 6.75 GB so why did dropbox send this email- This is a friendly reminder that your Dropbox is almost full! Sadly, it won't save any new changes until it's back in shape. Upgrade your Dropbox today and get up to 3 TB (3,000 GB) of space and powerful sharing features.Solved17KViews5likes72Comments
