I deleted my Gmail account, and now I can't access Dropbox because it sends an email there

I have an old Gmail account that I deleted and can no longer access.

When I try to login to my Dropbox account, it sends a code to that email address.

I know the password, can't receive the code to that email address.

Can someone update the email address on my old account or offer another solution?

Hey b012b012bb. I'm afraid not even our support team can update the email address of that Dropbox account, as this would pose an account security concern.

However, I've logged a ticket for you, so that we can check all other possible options. Please reply to my email, as soon as you see it.

    Hello

The email account used to log in to drobox has been deleted

Log in to drobox and remember the password and enter it. A six-digit verification letter was sent to the account mailbox but I did not receive the letter.

There is important information in this drobox

    What can be done?

Hey b012b012bb, let's jump right into this!

First things first: do you have any other devices that are linked to your Dropbox account (via the mobile/desktop app)?

If yes, please check their notifications and let me know if you can see the one-time code there.

If not, can you access the email address showing here, so that we can log a ticket for you?

      Keep me posted!

Hi Malcolm4, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Are you able to recreate the email address on Gmail in order to receive the verification code?

Do you have any other device that is already connected to your account?

This will help me to assist further!

No, because I deleted the Gmail Account a few years ago and they don't recycle Gmail accounts, nor can they recover deleted accounts apart from ones recently deleted.

No devices. Not used in at least 8 years...

Haven't logged into the Dropbox account in at least 8 years. I've gone through a few devices since then.
